As we know, the year 2020 was a whirlwind for our whole world. Suddenly everything became uncertain and unknown and all of our lives got put on pause. We barricaded the doors and said goodbye to socialising, work, and every sense of normality. Well not all of us.
This is for the ones who didn't stop, for the ones on the frontline. This is to give you the recognition you so truly deserve. "Our heroes". The key workers who trooped on when the rest of us stayed home, keeping us safe, fed, well, and content. Here's to the fighters. Here's to you.
